Hey Ghoulfriend ! I’m Maude, the owner. My name’s pronounced “Load” but with a M. I’m French Canadian and ever since moving to NJ,  no one can ever pronounce it right the first try,  so don’t worry if you didn’t !

I opened this boutique back in 2020 and since then I have given life to two amazing little girls. They’ve rocked my world in a beautiful, chaotic ways and helped me find purpose.

I’ve always loved heavier music and alternative fashion. Growing up in a small town, it was hard to find styles I loved, so I often resulted to scissors and a dream quite often. I learned to take pieces from mainstream brands twist them into something that felt like me.

My heart’s always been alt but as a young adult I tried to fit in and “grow up”. But the truth is… that wasn’t me. Then motherhood came and somewhere along the way. I left myself behind.

Motherhood changes everything, but it doesn’t have to change you.

With motherhood came new challenges, and a new purpose : To empower Moms to embrace their Alt style without ever having to sacrifice comfort. Family life is chaotic, messy, and beautiful, and you deserve clothes that reflect who you are and are still practical for your busy life.
